Patagonia - A spectacularly beautiful place, only made better by the wonderful people who work there! Would highly recommend if you're feeling adventurous.

5 star ratingRafting extravaganza! The place is like summer camp for adults! But with alcohol and no early wake-up calls. The food and service were amazing! The place is one of the most spectacular places I've ever seen and the staff was very top rate. The rafting was very professional and very exciting . I can't believe they can get a bunch of beginner rafters into that level of white water and rafting! We had a fantastic time and the only thing I wished we'd done differently was to stay in Patagonia longer and do some more hiking and exploring.

5 star ratingTrip of a Lifetime I have been traveling with Bio Bio for the past 12 years all over the world. Each trip has been fantastic but the Zambezi Explorer is at the top. From the safari camps to the river trips (the canoe safari and the adrenaline packed rafting of the class V big water below the Falls) this trip has everything you could wish for.The safari lodges are first class (we stayed at the Imbabala Safari Lodge and the Elephant Camp, both of which have luxurious accommodations as bookends to the time on the river. For the river sections, you camp on banks of the mighty Zambezi. The canoe safari is sedate when it comes to whitewater but makes up for that with sheer beauty and the unique experience a paddling past hippos, elephants, and crocodiles among the multitude of game you see above the Falls. The rafting is in warm water with huge class IV and V rapids. Bio Bio's guides are world-class and give you all the adrenaline you could want, in the safest manner possible. If you have a chance to experience the Zambezi with Bio Bio, don't hesitate. You won't regret it. I can highly recommend any trip with Bio Bio. Marc and Laurence (the owners) really take pride in what they offer and make sure that you will always have a memorable experience.

5 star ratingWilderness Medicine Conference for Emergency Medicine 10 Stars plus. An absolutely fabulous conference with multiple lectures pertaining to wilderness medicine given by Matthew DeClerck ER Wildernesses Med Specialist. Some lectures in conference rooms- some in a bus enroute to our 8 or 9 mile hiking start destinations. The conference was in Bhutan. A beautiful country known for its Happiness and its simplicity of life. Not many luxuries in Bhutan but i met many new friends and a good time was had by all. Our drivers and Tour Guides were amazing. They knew everything about the history and culture and we visited many monasteries On the mountain and each one has its own character and is lovely- even if you are not Buddhist, you will find the entire religion warm and calming and fascinating. Visit Bhutan before the opportunity slips by you. You do need a special Visa and a guide as far as I know to visit the country. If can go on any Bio Bio Trip it will be worth you while. The food was great, accommodations were upscale for the area, and the guides went out of their way to accommodate each and every person no matter what eccentric quirks they had . They were very sweet. I give them top dog grades and hope to plan my next year trip with 😊 I love trekking. The Tiger’s Nest was the Ultimate!
