International Veterinary Seminars – Fiji Multi-sport Adventure
This exciting International Veterinary Seminars course takes place in the secluded Fiji Island Paradise of Beqa (pronounced “Benga”). NOTE: Our Fiji IVS/Bio Bio trip price includes roundtrip airfare from Los Angeles.
Surrounded by one of the world’s largest and most spectacular barrier reefs, Beqa is rich and untouched. Beqa lagoon is actually an extinct volcano crater, and the 40-mile ring reef has formed on the lip of the old crater. It is home to one of the greatest displays of soft corals and sea fans in the world. Fiji is often called the “Soft Coral Capital of the World”.
Diving these calm protected waters is like exploring another world. The water is clear and warm, visibility is often over 100 feet, currents are generally mild, and the water temperature stays near a fairly constant 80 degrees.
The excellent dive staff at Beqa Lagoon Resort will help you discover the incredible marine life that abounds in these waters – fantastic coral and invertebrates, Blue Ribbon Eels, Clown Triggers, Lion Fish, Leaf Scorpions, Reef Sharks and millions of colorful Anthias and Fusiliers.
Behind the Beqa Lagoon resort the land slopes gently upward into a tropical forest. Nearby are beautiful fresh water streams and waterfalls. Tropical flowers bloom everywhere, and the tables at the resort are always filled with fresh cuttings.
Dive pristine reefs to discover rich marine life and beautiful coral gardens. Enjoy fun-filled days snorkeling, swimming or kayaking the warm waters of the blue lagoon. Hike to beautiful waterfalls, or spend an exciting afternoon deep sea fishing. Beqa is also a bird watching haven with the largest varieties of birds in Fiji. You can end the day relaxing in a hammock overlooking the sea or by lounging in the infinity pool.
On the seventh day of your trip, you will have the morning and lunch at Beqa Lagoon Resort. If you are a diver you will enjoy your fourth day of diving this morning. After lunch, the group will go by boat back to Pacific Harbour. Pacific Harbour offers adventurous activities and a change of scenery for the group. You will check into your Deluxe rooms at Warwick Fiji, where you will stay the final three nights of your trip along the Coral Coast. Dinner will be included this evening. There are swimming pools, kayaking, tennis courts, bike tours, a gym, spa services, snorkeling, and diving opportunities from the property. If this is not enough, we are offering two amazing experiences for the group! Please sign up in advance with Bio Bio Expeditions.

RIVERS FIJI, UPPER NAVUA RIVER RAFTING DAY TRIP
In the remote highlands of Viti Levu lies one of the most unique river trips on Earth. Slicing a deep chasm through the island’s tropical interior, the Upper Navua River is our hidden pathway to a pristine tropical wilderness. Shrouded in lush rain forest, fed by countless waterfalls and protected by challenging rapids, the Upper Navua River is Fiji rafting at its best.
Rivers Fiji is proud to introduce you to the Upper Navua Gorge. Your exploration of this amazing river is perhaps one of the most unique journeys in all of Fiji, if not the South Pacific and the World. This excursion will take you through some of the country’s most formidable and phenomenally beautiful terrain in the relative comfort of inflatable rafts.
This is a special trip not because of one unparalleled attribute upon which the success of the trip is based, but many special and scenically significant places; each individually worthy of special recognition. There is not one waterfall but many (some say at least seventy); not one short stretch of deep, narrow canyon, but kilometers. This is a place where black volcanic walls are at points barely five meters apart and over forty meters high and fringed by emerald rainforest. This is a place where man has been merely an intermittent visitor at best, where some of the wildest and most beautiful Fiji can still be found. (Class II-III)
