Awesome trip down the futaleufu. Such a wonderful group to be with and was sad to see the week come to an end. Now just have to plan my next adventure! Thank you for great food, fulfilling yoga, starry nights and the southern cross, gentle horses, kayak lessons and the best rescue team ever. Mundaka it’s not over yet!

Trip of a Lifetime I have been traveling with Bio Bio for the past 12 years all over the world. Each trip has been fantastic but the Zambezi Explorer is at the top. From the safari camps to the river trips (the canoe safari and the adrenaline packed rafting of the class V big water below the Falls) this trip has everything you could wish for.The safari lodges are first class (we stayed at the Imbabala Safari Lodge and the Elephant Camp, both of which have luxurious accommodations as bookends to the time on the river.For the river sections, you camp on banks of the mighty Zambezi. The canoe safari is sedate when it comes to whitewater but makes up for that with sheer beauty and the unique experience a paddling past hippos, elephants, and crocodiles among the multitude of game you see above the Falls. The rafting is in warm water with huge class IV and V rapids. Bio Bio's guides are world-class and give you all the adrenaline you could want, in the safest manner possible.If you have a chance to experience the Zambezi with Bio Bio, don't hesitate. You won't regret it. I can highly recommend any trip with Bio Bio. Marc and Laurence (the owners) really take pride in what they offer and make sure that you will always have a memorable experience.

I booked a tour to Africa with this company and was shocked at the amazing quality of the experience. All of my expectations were greatly exceeded. We had a wonderful time, all accommodations were fabulous. Transportations between sites was seamless allowing me to just relax and enjoy the adventure. The value for what I paid was phenomenal. In addition, I was travelling in a time were COVID restrictions, requirements and plane cancellations were changing daily. Whenever I emailed Marc at Bio Bio regarding a new obstacle he was very prompt to respond and went out of his way to help smooth my travel arrangements even though this was not part of the companies responsibilities. To sum up my experience, the day after I returned from my trip I went on Bio Bio's website to see what other adventures they offered. Will definitely use them again.

Love the Futalafu & Bio Bio Expeditions Just got back from our trip on the Futalafu with Bio Bio Expeditions. Can't say enough great things about the trip. The Futalafu was huge water and so exciting to raft. The river guides were fantastic and so experienced with safety being a top priority. The boat safety team included several kayaks and pontoon boats. All of the staff were friendly and so much fun! They clearly loved their jobs and had a huge passion for the river. The food on the trip was so good and very interesting with different themes each night. The tent platforms were cozy to sleep in with very comfortable beds. All of the extra activities, such as horseback riding, yoga, massage, hiking, fly fishing lessons, hot tub, sauna, and more, really added to the trip. This trip was the adventure of a lifetime!
