Two of us just returned from a week with BBX on the Futuleufu. Fantastic! But you must know this is not the normal multi-day river trip. It's a tremendous base camp from which numerous activities are possible each and every day: rafting different segments of the FU is central on both easy and much more challenging water, but horseback riding, short and longer hikes (some spectacular), and flyfishing are all in order--with small groups ranging from two to twenty. The guides are tremendous and each brings both global experience (Zambesi, Peru, western US, Bhutan) and special skills (professional yoga instruction, two amazing successful professional musicians, etc). The camp itself is special: hot tubs, sauna, separate library, individual semi-isolated tents on rain-sheltered platforms, home-cooked meals on-site twice daily. To repeat, this is not the usual multi-day river trip with successive daily stops, but it is multiple days of remote outdoor activity, all with special people from a special spot on a great river and a couple of its tributaries. We're going planning to book another different trip with BBX and we're planning to return to BBX on the Fu next year
