Bio Bio Expeditions - North America

Whitewater Rafting in California, Oregon, Idaho & Alaska

Bio Bio Expeditions is your best option for adventure in North America.

California – our home state and our whitewater roots!
The founders of Bio Bio Expeditions grew up in California and discovered their love for the outdoors on the rivers and in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada.  In the springtime, there is no better place for whitewater fun than in the crystal clear, pool-drop rivers of California such as rafting the California Salmon or in the scenic deep canyons paddling the Rogue River in Southern Oregon.

Many of our international guests get together for “reunion” trips to experience the Bio Bio Expeditions magic with their friends again.  We are also  happy to custom tailor an itinerary for beginner kayakers who want to do a raft-supported multi-day trip on the Klamath River in northern California – a perfect river to learn on.

Tatshenshini-Alsek River Rafting
In the northwest corner of the continent, where the boundaries of British Columbia, the Yukon and Alaska converge, the Tatshenshini and Alsek rivers flow amidst three-mile-high mountains. Massive glaciers descend to the water’s edge, shearing off thunderously into calving icebergs. The primeval landscape, dominated by grizzlies, ravens and eagles is wilderness in its purest form. Join Bio Bio Expeditions for an 11-day exploration of this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site.
