A must for whitewater enthusiasts First, the river itself is fantastic. Beautiful, clear blue. Never quite seen anything like it. From fun and splashy to fierce Class v rapids. Second, world class guides - here’s to Garrett, Whitney, and Stan. Third, meticulous attention to safety. I’m guessing the number of safety kayaks and catarafts outnumbered the guests. Fourth, the setting. Simply spectacular, not just northern Patagonia but where the camp is located - right along the banks of the Futaleufú. But it was the people - the guides, the staff, the wonderful Terri, Marc, and Lorenzo, and the other guests - that set this trip apart. If you can swing it - do it. I promise you won’t regret it.
