Practical CME with hands on experience. Outstanding educator: Kyle. Bhutan is an incredible place. Very green country, traditional dress and very Buddhist but people are accepting of everyone. Amazing trip with good blend of hiking and cultural experiences, even a go at archery, the national sport.
GREAT trip! Bhutan is a beautiful country and the people are incredibly friendly — everyone should go! The Bio Bio trip was incredible — lots of great activities, delicious food and AMAZING guides. I highly recommend this trip!
Our Wilderness Medicine trip to Bhutan with Bio Bio expeditions was wonderful. Amazing tour and scenery and cultural info and events were all wonderful. We highly recommend this tour!
Bhutan in the spring was magical. The local guides and our trip coordinator were all fantastic and attentive. All our questions about history and culture were answered. What an amazing country and I truly felt this was my favorite trip so far — a mix of activity and cultural immersion. Highly recommended 10/10 for anyone who loves to experience new cultures and explore an ancient region. The kindness of the Bhutanese people will stay with me for many years.
Bhutan was an amazing experience. From hiking to the Tiger’s Nest, whitewater rafting the Mo Chu and Pho Chu rivers, immersing ourselves in the culture visiting monasteries, dzongs, and a nunnery, it was a great trip. Bio Bio trips are well planned and Mirko was an outstanding guide. We had a seamless experience traveling the country of Bhutan.
Excellent tour company. Our tour guide Kipchu and his team were so organised and extremely helpful. They always looked after our needs, catered to our dietary needs, and made sure people enjoyed themselves.
This was my first time travelling with a group and I couldn’t be more pleased. Of course, Bhutan was mind-blowing! The entire coordinated trip — the hotels, guides, experiences — all were excellent! I highly recommend Bio Bio.
Fantastic experience in an amazing country. Kipchu, Tandin and Chimi were amazing guides — very knowledgeable, always available and keen to answer all questions. Food was amazing and transportation was seamless. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bio Bio and this trip in particular to everyone who loves adventure and culture in a unique country.
We had an amazing trip, words are not enough. The trip itself was well organized and seamless. The guides were very knowledgeable, affable, and accommodating. Mariko, our Bio Bio rep, is so much fun! We loved learning about the religion, culture, sacred sites, foods, and customs. The guides even organized a meet and greet with a local veterinarian. We definitely plan to go on another adventure with Bio Bio.
Bhutan CME
The trip was amazing and every logistical detail was accounted for. Bhutan is a beautiful country with an amazing history and culture. Bio Bio Expeditions planned every detail of the trip with wonderful guides. All I had to do was show up and experience the wonders for myself.
Wilderness Medicine Conference for Emergency Medicine — 10 Stars plus. An absolutely fabulous conference with multiple lectures pertaining to wilderness medicine. Some lectures in conference rooms, some in a bus enroute to our 8 or 9 mile hiking start destinations. The conference was in Bhutan. A beautiful country known for its Happiness and its simplicity of life. I met many new friends and a good time was had by all. Our drivers and Tour Guides were amazing. They knew everything about the history and culture and we visited many monasteries on the mountain, each with its own character. Visit Bhutan before the opportunity slips by you.
