Itinerary
What to expect
Days 1–2: Lima
Arrive in Lima, South America’s culinary capital. Enjoy the optional coastal biking through Barranco and Miraflores, then dive into history with Huaca Pucllana, the Larco Museum (lunch included), and Lima’s UNESCO-listed historic center, including Casa de Aliaga.
Days 3–4: Sacred Valley
Fly to Cusco and descend into the Sacred Valley. Browse the colorful Pisac market, enjoy a welcome lunch at Hacienda Huayoccari, kayak Huaypo Lagoon, and explore the fascinating Moray terraces and Maras salt mines.
Days 5–6: Inca Trail & Machu Picchu
Hike the final stretch of the Inca Trail, entering Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate in the afternoon. Explore the iconic citadel, with optional climbs of Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, then return to Cusco aboard the scenic Vistadome train.
Day 7: Cusco
Visit Sacsayhuamán and Qenqo, then walk the last section of the ancient Inca Road into Cusco. Afternoon at leisure to explore or relax.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport, departing with unforgettable memories of Peru’s culture, history, and landscapes.
