Join us for an unforgettable Wilderness & Marine Medicine CME set in the remote island paradise of Beqa, Fiji.

Encircled by a spectacular 40-mile barrier reef formed on the rim of an ancient volcanic crater, Beqa is wild, pristine, and world-renowned for its soft corals and sea fans, earning Fiji its title as the Soft Coral Capital of the World.

Dive warm, crystal-clear waters with exceptional visibility, gentle currents, and thriving marine life. Explore vibrant coral gardens alongside reef sharks, lionfish, ribbon eels, scorpionfish, and vast schools of tropical fish, guided by the expert team at Beqa Lagoon Resort.

On land, lush rainforest rises behind the resort, dotted with waterfalls, streams, and abundant birdlife. Between dives, kayak the lagoon, snorkel pristine reefs, hike to waterfalls, or unwind in a hammock or infinity pool overlooking the sea.

Booking Flights (review prior to booking):

You will need to make your own R/T travel arrangements from home to Nadi International Airport (NAN) in Fiji. Nadi is located on the west side of the main island of Viti Levu.

Many clients choose the direct Fiji Airways flights from Los Angeles to Nadi (FJ811 from LAX- NAN / FJ810 from NAN-LAX), which takes about 11 hours. You will cross the international dateline traveling from the US to Fiji (“Day One” of our trip, is the day to arrive NAN in Fiji). Please schedule your flight home from Fiji to depart no earlier than 2:00 PM.

You will take both a ground and water transfer to Beqa Island. Ground transfers are provided from NAN to the ferry dock at 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM. It takes about 2 1⁄2 hours driving along the beautiful coral coast by vehicle.

The boat transfers to the island depart the ferry dock at 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM, and take about 45 minutes. You will make a wet landing when you arrive, needing to wade into water possibly calf deep. Please dress accordingly. The staff will handle your luggage and assist with registration.

If you miss the last transfer from NAN to the ferry dock at 2:00 PM, you will need to stay at a hotel nearby the airport at your expense, and be picked up the next day for the transfer to the resort. Some hotel options are Tokatoka Resort, Fiji Gateway Hotel, Nalagi, Tanoa, and Novotel Nadi. If this occurs, please contact Bio Bio Expeditions and Beqa Lagoon Resort.
