Africa is a long way to travel, so we recommend making the most of your time with a few special additions. Spending two extra nights in the Serengeti at an intimate tented camp allows you to fully immerse yourself in the experience. These are not basic tents, but comfortable safari-style accommodations with ensuite facilities, ranging from mid-level to luxurious. Staying in a tented camp brings you closer to the wildlife and offers a more authentic feel of life in the Serengeti.

We also suggest adding time in Selous National Park, one of Tanzania’s most remote and untouched reserves. Accessible mainly by small aircraft, Selous offers a true wilderness experience far from crowds and paved roads. It is home to extraordinary wildlife numbers, including large populations of elephants, buffalo, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, and wild dogs, set within a stunning landscape of rivers, savannah, woodlands, and marshes. Together, the Serengeti and Selous create a diverse, exciting, and unforgettable African adventure.
