What to expect

Day 1: Arrival to Chile!

Arrive to either Punta Arenas or Puerto Natales, stretch your traveling legs by enjoying the charm of the local village.

Day 2: Travel to EcoCamp

Today you start your journey to EcoCamp, located in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. You will enjoy the views of Southern Patagonia along the way and be warmly welcomed to the domed village of EcoCamp – your basecamp for all your adventures in Torres del Paine!

Day 3-5: Explore Torres del Paine

Choose your own adventure! Each day will bring a variety of activities that you can choose from, depending on your interests and energy level. See some of the options below.

Day 6: Departure Day

You bid a fond farewell to your dome at EcoCamp for travel home, or extend your stay in Southern Patagonia and explore El Calafate and El Chaiten, right across the border in Argentina.

Easy Excursions – Big Scenery, Easy Pace

Western Lakes & Grey Glacier Cruise
Sit back and enjoy one of the most scenic drives in Patagonia, with short walks along Lake Pehoé, views of Paine Grande and Los Cuernos, and the roar of Salto Grande waterfall. After a relaxed lakeside lunch, cruise past the glowing blue ice walls of Grey Glacier, an unforgettable highlight with zero strain on the knees.

Laguna Azul & Fauna Walk
Explore the quieter side of the park with gentle walks, wide-open views, and plenty of photo stops. From turquoise Laguna Azul to Paine Waterfall and lakeside trails where guanacos often wander by, this day is all about soaking it in without rushing.

Mirador Cóndor Viewpoint
A short, steady walk leads to one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Torres del Paine. Enjoy sweeping views of the Paine Massif rising above Lake Pehoé, and a little Patagonian wind to keep things exciting, before heading back to EcoCamp feeling pleasantly accomplished.

Laguna Inge & Botanical Safari
Wander along the Cuernos trail beside Lake Nordenskjöld with constant views of the famous Paine Horns, stopping often for photos. Back at EcoCamp, finish with a guided botanical stroll to learn about Patagonia’s unique plants and wildlife, an easy, interesting way to round out the day before dinner and a well-earned rest.

Active Excursions – Iconic Hikes, Smartly Paced

Western Lakes & Pingo Trail Hike
Combine scenic drives and lakeside walks with a rewarding hike through a storybook Magellan forest on the Pingo Trail. Enjoy views of Paine Grande, Los Cuernos, Salto Grande waterfall, and the wild western face of the massif plus a healthy dose of classic Patagonian wind to remind you that you’re truly out there.

Towers Base Trek
This is the classic Torres del Paine hike and yes, you can do it. The trail winds through forests, valleys, and streams before the final moraine climb to the base of the soaring granite Towers. Take it at a steady pace, enjoy the challenge, and savor lunch in front of one of the most jaw-dropping views on the planet.

French Valley Hike & Lake Pehoé Navigation
Cruise across Lake Pehoé by catamaran before hiking deep into the heart of the Paine Massif. Towering peaks, hanging glaciers, and dramatic rock formations surround you as you climb into French Valley, with options to go farther depending on energy and enthusiasm. A picnic with world-class scenery makes the effort more than worthwhile.

Los Cuernos Pass or Puesto Serón
Hike along Lake Nordenskjöld beneath the striking black-and-granite spires of Los Cuernos, stopping often for photos and fresh air. Or venture onto a quieter section of the Paine Circuit toward Puesto Serón, where open landscapes, lenga forests, wildlife sightings, and big views reward those who like a little solitude with their adventure.

EcoCamp Standard domes were the world’s first lodge accommodation in geodesic shape. They are resistant to the strong Patagonian winds, and come equipped with two single beds (doubles on request), cozy fleece blankets and feather quilts. There are windows in the ceiling for stargazing. Standard domes include shared bathrooms which are large, comfortable and gender divided.

Suite domes were designed to further our goal of providing comfort in a natural setting with minimal environmental impact, and also maintain thehotel’s familiar and cozy vibe.
