Itinerary
What to expect
Days 1–2: Leh Arrival & Acclimatization
Fly from Delhi to Leh with incredible Himalayan views. Spend two days acclimatizing, exploring monasteries, markets, and soaking in Ladakh’s high-altitude culture.
Days 3–5: Journey to Zanskar
Travel over high mountain passes through Kargil and Rangdum, with views of Nun and Kun peaks, before crossing Pensi La into the remote Zanskar Valley. The road ends at Remala, where the river expedition begins.
Days 6–9: Zanskar River & Canyon
Launch onto the river with warm-up Class II–III rapids, camp near monasteries, and paddle deeper into the dramatic Zanskar Canyon. A layover day at Nyerak offers time to hike, relax, and experience village life in one of the most remote river gorges in the Himalayas.
Days 10–11: Big Water Finale & Return to Leh
Tackle exciting Class IV whitewater through towering red-rock canyons before reaching Nimu, where the Zanskar meets the Indus. Return to Leh for a farewell celebration.
Day 12: Departure
Fly back to Delhi, closing out an unforgettable Himalayan river adventure.
